Katherine has a broad commercial practice and accepts briefs in all areas of commercial and corporate law, including taxation law. Katherine is also a reporter for the Thomson Reuters Federal Law Reports and Federal Court Reports.

 

Before coming to the Bar, Katherine was an associate at the Federal Court, to Justice Gordon in 2011 and to Justice Middleton in 2012–2013. Prior to that, Katherine was a litigation solicitor at Arnold Bloch Leibler.

 

Since coming to the Bar, Katherine has been briefed to act for and advise various government departments, regulators, companies and individuals. In addition to her general commercial law experience, Katherine’s Bachelor of Science (Genetics) equips her to understand and work with complex and technical subject matter. She works diligently with her instructors to secure the best possible outcome in the circumstances on each matter, whether through litigation or commercial negotiation.
