Nasos practises principally in the areas of taxation and commercial law (including insolvency and insurance law).

He regularly advises and appears on behalf of both taxpayers and the Commissioner of Taxation in both the Victorian and Federal jurisdictions.

Nasos is also experienced in providing advice on technical tax matters, including in respect of trust structures (such as resettlements) and not-for-profit entities.

Nasos also has substantial experience in assisting clients in their dealings with the Commissioner during the audit and dispute resolution stages. Nasos also advises on the implications of revenue law, including stamp duty, payroll tax and land tax.

Nasos has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and is a Senior Fellow of the University’s Law Faculty, where he lectures in the subject Corporate Tax A. He is also a member of the Tax Bar Association and CommBar Association.

Before joining the Bar, Nasos was a senior associate with Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s Taxation Group, where he spent more than 8 years advising and acting for multinational clients in large scale tax litigation.
