• Providing advice to the ATO concerning legislative reform (with P Crutchfield QC);

• Appearing on behalf of the Commissioner of State Revenue in the first cases concerning both the foreign purchaser additional duty exemption and the absentee owner exemption to a surcharge of land transfer duty (with C Horan QC);

• Appearing on behalf of the Commissioner of State Revenue in proceedings concerning the ability of a taxpayer to obtain a refund under Part 4 of the Taxation Administration Act 1997 (Vic) in respect of land tax paid under a notice of assessment (with P Solomon QC);

• Direct briefs from accountancy firms concerning various aspects of income tax (with J Batrouney QC).
