Frank practises principally in all facets of Commonwealth taxation law undertaking appearance, advice and alternative dispute resolution work across a broad range of taxation matters. Before the Bar, Frank worked with the Australian Taxation Office, and with law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

 

Incidental to his practice, among other things, Frank is:

• a sessional Deputy President of the Commonwealth Administrative Appeals Tribunal;

• a member of the International Association of Tax Judges;

• a Senior Fellow of the University of Melbourne, Law Faculty, teaching in the Melbourne Law Masters program;

• a member of the Executive of the Law Council of Australia, Business Law Section, and former treasurer (2014), deputy chairman (2010–2011) and chairman (2012 & 2013);

• a member of the Law Council of Australia, Business Law Section, Taxation Committee and former deputy-chair (2003 & 2004) and chair (2005 & 2006);

• a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Taxation Law Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee;

• a Taxation Institute of Australia, Chartered Tax Adviser; and

• a member of the Federal Court of Australia Users’ Committee.
