Most significantly, Albert has acted as junior counsel to a number of tax silks, including John de Wijn QC, Mark Moshinsky QC (as his Honour then was) and Stephen Sharpley QC for the Commissioner of Taxation in a number of taxation cases.
Before coming to the Bar, Albert was Associate to the Honourable Murray Gleeson AC, the then Chief Justice of Australia. He previously practised as a solicitor with Mallesons Stephen Jaques, and is presently a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
