Albert Dinelli has extensive taxation and revenue experience, having acted in a number of significant Commonwealth and State matters. As well as his advocacy experience, his advice is also often sought on the taxation consequences of complex commercial transactions in anticipation of corporate restructures.
Most significantly, Albert has acted as junior counsel to a number of tax silks, including John de Wijn QC, Mark Moshinsky QC (as his Honour then was) and Stephen Sharpley QC for the Commissioner of Taxation in a number of taxation cases.
Before coming to the Bar, Albert was Associate to the Honourable Murray Gleeson AC, the then Chief Justice of Australia. He previously practised as a solicitor with Mallesons Stephen Jaques, and is presently a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
